Dr Paul Byrne
Qualifications: MRCGP MRCP MSc. Sports Medicine 
Dr Paul Byrne is originally from Wicklow and graduated from UCD Medical School in 2002. Following internship in the Mater and Dundalk he worked in Brisbane in Australia for a year and then returned to Dublin to complete a Masters Degree in Sports Medicine in Trinity College. He gained further experience in medicine and paediatrics in St Vincent’s University Hospital and Tallaght University Hospital and then completed his GP training with a year in Liverpool in 2008-2009. He has 15 years experience as a GP and worked in a number of different GP practices in the Dublin and Kildare areas up until July of 2015 when he took over the running of Maynooth Medical Centre from Dr. Eithne Bolger. He is also involved in teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in UCD.

Practice Nurse
Nurse Siobhan Leacy is our very experienced practice nurse – she carries out cervical smears, phlebotomy and oversees the childhood immunisation program. She is a candidate Nurse Prescriber.
